33 Alfred Street Redevelopment
Frontek porcelain cladding has been selected to be part of the new look for 33 Alfred Street redevelopment, Sydney’s first skyscraper located in one of the most iconic parts of Sydney harbour skyline between the Opera House and Circular Quay.
Designed by Johnson Pilton Walker (JPW), developed by Built., Inhabit® Group and Austech Facades, the redevelopment and refurbishment will be the most comprehensive upgrade since the building was opened in 1962.
The cladding panels to be used are the result of a special collaboration between the 450 years old Dutch company Koninklijke Tichelaar B.V. and Frontek.
Johnson Pilton Walker (JPW) defined some customised glazes in order to maintain the building heritage characteristics and reinstate lost building features.
We’re looking forward to the installation stage.
