Who we are.

Frontek belongs to Spain based “Greco Gres Internacional”. This conglomerate of companies has a longstanding ceramic tradition, whose origins date back to 1940. The experience gained over decades in the manufacturing of high tech ceramic products, has positioned their companies nationally and internationally as a benchmark of quality in the manufacturing of clinker, brick and paver, extruded porcelain tiles and ventilated facade systems composed of unique extruded pieces.

Frontek Australia Pty Ltd has been established to cater for the Australian demand for innovative and sophisticated building solutions. With our office, showroom and highly experienced team we look forward to be part of the outstanding building developments happening here.

What we do.

Frontek has developed an exclusive piece of extruded ceramics that has excellent technical qualities for the cladding of facades: extremely hard, light, highly resistant and long-lasting, with low water absorption and excellent performance against weather and environmental conditions. This piece is specially designed for anchoring to a metallic structure and ensuring quick and easy installation. A product that is remarkable for being extremely light. Its exclusive design is an assurance of the firmest attachment to the structure without the need for additional cutting or drilling that might weaken it.

Wide range of products

Around the world.

Since its inception, Frontek has always had its eyes open to the world. To a global world that offers great opportunities to dress with extruded Spanish technological porcelain all types of buildings in the six continents. This exchange of experiences has allowed us to evolve together. Connectivity offers many benefits and advances, especially in the ability to share knowledge, but also impels us to always be attentive to carry out projects that rescue and respond appropriately to a specific climate, culture or context, which must finally be converted, in its main value.

Advantages Frontek

  • Frontek is an exclusive piece of extruded ceramic that has excellent technical qualities for cladding facades.

  • It is a piece with alveolar design and a longitudinal cleft in the upper and lower part of the piece that facilitates the assembly on a metal substructure allowing several ways to place the same piece guaranteeing an optimal fixation without the need for additional cuts or perforations that can weaken your resistance.

  • The alveolar design avoids the need to mesh the piece and strengthens it against impact loads. In turn, this exclusive design makes the piece lighter.

  • Thanks to its exclusive manufacturing process, the Frontek piece has many finishes in its different ranges: textured, natural, polished, metallic, wood and volume. Even being able to adapt to specific requirements of a project in question.

  • The Frontek piece offers an excellent dimensional finish, with optimum tolerance levels thanks to its production process, in which the piece is rectified on its 4 sides, thus achieving an unbeatable planimetry.

  • The minimum water absorption that the Frontek piece has avoid dirt from permeate it, making cleaning easier and minimizing maintenance operations.

Thermal insulation advantages

The insulating material applied on the exterior face of the wall and floors eliminates thermal bridges, preventing heat loss to the outside of the building in the coldest months of the year, as well as avoiding heat transfer from outside in summer. Estimated energy saving between 15% and 35% in both heating and cooling is achieved. Also, when applying the insulation on the outside of the wall a greater thermal mass is provided to the building, achieving an increase of the thermal inertia with consequent energy savings. The covering acts as a shield reflecting large amount of solar radiation therefore preventing the building to heat up.

Functional and construction advantages.

Easy and quick installation.

Great strength and durability.

Excellent stability of the ceramic covering, without risk of cracking or detachment.

Replacing individual tiles.

Lightness of the system on the wall.
