Charles Darwin University Education and Community Precinct

We are delighted to share the news that Frontek porcelain cladding is being installed at Charles Darwin University (CDU) Education and Community Precinct.
This project designed by multidisciplinary studio MODE Design is focused around the heritage listed boab tree, creating a new public gather space for the people of Darwin (NT). The building form has responded to the boab, with a sloping façade form to ensure the tree is not overshadowed and is provided with the necessary solar access to ensure the continued long life of this special landmark of the city. The $250 million project is the centrepiece of the 10-year Darwin City Deal.
This university building is also the first Frontek Cladding project located in Northern Territory.
Frontek customized panels ST103 and S103 will be installed vertically in a fully unitized system.
