Incheon Church

The port city of Incheon is the third largest metropolis in Korea and lies adjacent to the state capital of Seoul. This new central church is being built close to the coast for the local Methodist congregation, in Songdo.

The design by Vita Group Architecture aimed for a contemporary look that remains clean and utilitarian, while using materials that allow for different textures and finishes to provide a cohesive and respectful design.

The feature joints at two different dimensions are possible thanks to the strict rectification process that Frontek panels go through and the practically non-existent contraction-expansion coefficient of porcelain, allowing up to 2mm joints between pieces.
